About This Beer

I love the vibe you get sitting around a campfire. The flicks of flame heat your face and buddies crack-wise, brews in hand while roasting mallows.

It s’more than a feeling.

And by the looks (and taste) of it, Drekker has done more than their fair share of making chocolate cracker confections under the stars. They’ve captured these gooey good times with their Sticky Digits Porter!

Tasting Notes

The brew’s malts blend with graham crackers for a light, roasty tinge. A faint note of espresso folds neatly into cacao nibs for a wave of mocha. Lactose and brown sugar follow, giving the gulp a light shimmer, while marshmallows and vanilla beans bolster the body with a smooth finish.

im a bit of a Drekker nut, but I will say that the stouts and porters have been a bit of a let down. this is a good pour, tasty, smooth. but if you know Drekker, you know they are usually big on the flavor fronts. its good, just not as in your face as most Drekker pours are.

Nice chocolate and brown sugar notes. Marshmallow and vanilla provide additional sweetness.

In spite of having a grocery bag full of adjuncts, most are muted. There is definitely a cocoa presence, reasonable dosage of sweetness, and a nice roasty finish. Body is light.

3.75/5 look: 4.25 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75 Poured from a 16 ounce can into a tulip glass. Look- Black, medium brown frothy head, opaque, average head retention and lacing. Smell- Toasted oats, cacao nibs, weak strength of scent. Taste- Cacao nibs, toasted oats, vanilla, moderately sweet, medium strength of flavor. Feel- Medium body, average carbonation, silky, moderately creamy. Overall- Look was an opaque black with average head retention and lacing. Smell was weak in strength and fairly simple. Taste was medium in strength with moderate complexity. Feel was silky as expected from the addition of lactose. Overall the beer didn’t live up to the information on the label. I did not get any graham cracker or marshmallow from the nose or the taste.
