The brewers at Phase Three poured a whopping 2,500 lbs of strawberry purée into their Strawberry Chantilly Milkshake IPA! When I heard that, you could’ve knocked me over with a feather.

Not only does this thick, frothy milkshake of a brew overflow with juicy, tangy-sweet strawberries, it also boasts the whipped cream-like flavors of velvety vanilla and milk sugar. 

Each sip reminds me of slurping up a decadent strawberry milkshake at an old school malt shop — except its 7.2% ABV reminds me to savor it slowly.

With sensational sippers like this, it’s no wonder Phase Three is one of Chicago’s trendiest breweries according to the Chicago Tribune. Even PorchDrinking raves that they can craft “an expertly brewed beer.” And, at just two years old, their top-notch brews have earned quite the fan following, selling out almost faster than they can keep up!

Which means that even if you were to head out to their Lake Zurich taproom, you’d likely be a day late and a beer short.
