Fueled by a hilarious plot, a very catchy song, and the one and only Bill Murray, Ghostbusters was the top movie of 1984. For some reason, Hollywood followed it up two years later with a bizarre sequel about pink slime and some creepy guy named Vigo. 

But, Ghostbusters II is all in good fun. And, today’s brand-new Drekker release is proof that something truly wonderful came out of it after all — a big 500ml, 12.5% ABV, barrel-aged bottle of wonder! 

Inspired by Vigo’s “Time is but a window. I’ll be back!” prophecy, the Drekker crew invested a lot of time and patience into this incredibly complex sipper. They blended a silky, lactose-infused Imperial Stout that was aged in Elijah Craig Bourbon, Willet Rye, Tattersall Rye, and Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels for 10 to 12 months!

Then, they conditioned the brew on toasted macadamia nuts and Vietnamese cinnamon. Every velvety, softly roasty sip flows with abundant notes of rich dark chocolate, snickerdoodle, and shortbread cookies!

It (probably) won’t make the Statue of Liberty come to life, but the brew is a rich and luxurious tribute to the overindulgence of Ghostbusters II. And, if you’re feeling generous, might as well invite some friends to help you tackle this pastry beast.
