About This Beer
For this black-tie affair, the Stout savants at Monday Night channeled 12 years of expertise into an opulent cuvée for the ages. They started by aging a rich base in 12 unique spirit barrels previously used for their entire beloved Situational Ethics series — including apple brandy, Oloroso sherry, maple cognac, mezcal, bourbon, maple bourbon, rum, maple rum, port, maple scotch, rye, and vanilla barrels.
Then they blended it all together and layered it with creamy chocolate, coconut, toasted oak, and Ugandan, Madagascar, and Costa Rican vanilla beans.
Tasting Notes
Melodies of velvety mocha and creme brûlée harmonize with dark dried fruit tones on the sip. Each new quaff features a solo from a different spirit. Careful when you stand for an ovation though — this beauty hides a 13.9% ABV!
