A Note on This Beer
Foggy Flavors: This Hazy drips with dank papaya, juicy mango, and orange citrus as if the brewers packed a whole fruit stand in here! Hazy Hops: Kettle-hopped with Pacific Jade, Mosaic, Citra, Summit, then double dry-hopped with a ridiculous amount of Mosaic. Misty Mouthfeel: Super pillowy!
I get pretty anxious when the fog starts rolling in, especially ‘round Halloween. As soon as the weather goes gray and I can’t see down the street, I’m on my toes looking out for ghoulish figures!
Then my friends tell me there’s no such thing as vengeful ghosts and to stop screaming like Jamie Lee Curtis in The Fog.
But now I finally realize there’s nothing to fear in the mist. That’s ‘cause today’s Wandering into the Fog: Mosaic Imperial IPA leads straight through the haze to a bright, sunny world of flavors!
Now, the only screaming I do is from the pure joy of tropical fruit juice wafting over my palate!
This New England-style Hazy is rolling in from the hop masters at Abomination Brewing. These nomadic small-batch brewers focus their efforts on big n’ juicy IPAs, and they have the 4+ brewery ratings on BA and UT to show for it!
And in addition to massive hop quantities, today’s myst-ifying IIPA is packed with flaked oats and wheat for a mouthfeel that’s as fluffy as it looks. Even so, it’s the colossal juice in this 8.6% ABV haze that’ll keep you returning sip after sip.
But you don’t want to wander into this haze all on your own! So grab a couple extra cans while this limited brew is still around, and show your friends that fog doesn’t have to mean gloomy. At least not when it comes to an expertly-crafted New England version!
And if there are any ghosts or ghouls lurking in the next wave of foggy weather, just give ‘em some sips of today’s IIPA. There’s enough sunny tropical flavor here to brighten up anyone’s mood.
