A Note on This Beer
If you ever find yourself in Cincinnati, Listermann is a must-visit. They’ve been blowing the minds of Midwest craft fans for over two decades, and they have the GABF and World Beer Cup medals to prove it.
They even have a homebrew shop in the same building so you can try to recreate today’s Yoda Potato Strikes Back when you get home!
Just don’t be surprised if yours isn’t as good as Listermann’s once-a-year release.
Pop the top on Yoda Potato Strikes Back and get lost in an orange grove of aromas from Galaxy, Citra, and Lemon Drop Hops. Take a sip, and tropical mandarin drenches the palate, along with juicy mango and dank papaya. On the finish, there’s just enough resinous pine to dry things out and invite the next sip.
Most days, if you wanted a sip of Listermann outside of Ohio, you’d have to try making their beers in your garage, on your own. And, unless you have some serious equipment and a whole lot of expertise, it just wouldn’t be the same.
But today, you have a chance to try a beloved seasonal Hazy from one of the most celebrated breweries in the Midwest.
*Yoda Potato is named after brewer John Kushniroff’s pug. That’s him on the can!
