About This Beer
Phase Three — one of The Chicago Tribune’s trendiest breweries — crafted DDH Cross Pollination by double dry hopping their DIPA with 100% Citra. Then they tagged in their partners at Standard Meadery to add the floral sweetness of orange blossom honey!
Tasting Notes
Each smooth sip paints the palate with citrusy notes of freshly peeled oranges and grapefruit pith. Mango nuances swirl into whispers of golden sweetness as a kiss of orange blossom herbaceousness complements the piney, botanical finish.

Deff smell the DDH but the honey and technique feel like it calms down the hops up front.

Leans a bit sweet, but some solid fruit/floral notes from Citra and the 🍊 🌸 🍯 and a punch trailing hop bittering in the finish.

Very good. Smooth, creaminess from the hops and honey blossom. Definitely want more

Smooth, citrusy, slightly sweet aftertaste. Refreshing juice from the Citra hop, balanced between dry, sweet, and bitter.

Super dank nose. Falls a little flat on the flavor to make it stand out - muted taste.

Love this can oddly flavored hop and citrus earthy flavor with a bit of sweetness ... I’m going to say it’s probably a solid 4 in my opinion or slightly under that

Aroma soft orange, tangerine, honey. Flavor has a good amount of juice from the hops that is accentuated by the wildflower honey. You would think it would get too sweet but it doesn’t. Real good!!

It really is ALMOST great. But the honey dominates a little too much for me. The sweetness just takes over. If it could balance it with just a bit more bitterness, giddy up

Great aroma and very smooth for an 8%. I wish it had more flavor so it would stand out amongst the endless sea of IPAs.

Extremely smooth, with a nice fruity sweetness. Not usually a fan of honey in beers but this is actually really good
